Salmat Digital appoints executive general manager
Digital communications provider Salmat Digital has appointed former chief information officer at Fairfax Digital Paul Russell as executive general manager technology and delivery. Russell will be responsible for accelerating Salmat's digital strategy by driving the technical development and delivery of Salmat Digital's cross channel digital solutions to help businesses acquire, grow and retain customers.

Girlfriend unveils redesign
Pacific Magazine's Girlfriend has unveiled a new look which includes new sections, redesigned layouts and fonts. The masthead will now increases the volume of real readers used in fashion and beauty shoots. It also features a new advertising executions.

The Sun to include Fabulous supplement
While the UK awaits the launch of Rupert Murdoch's Sunday edition of The Sun, reports reveal Fabulous magazine, usually a Saturday supplement, is being moved to be included in the The Sun on Sundays.

Digital agency Reactive has developed a new microsite for the Australian National Maritime Museum for its Aqua: A Journey into the World of Water exhibit. The site features information, imagery and was built on CMS Sitecore's Microsoft Azure version.
