The director of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Stephan Elliot, will be among the speakers at the Account Planning Group's 2012 Battle of Big Thinking.
The Battle of Big Thinking, part of the annual Communications Council “Circus” Festival of Commercial Creativity, features fifteen speakers presenting “big” ideas across numerous categories, including business, media and advertising, government, social and storytelling.
Other speakers include the Wayside Chapel's Pastor Graham Long, activist Elena Jeffreys from the Scarlet Alliance, and Ausfilm chief executive Debra Richards, among others.
The battle is set for 28 March, with The Chaser's Julian Morrow acting as MC.
The 2012 “Biggest Thinker” will be judged and voted on by the audience of the day.
Account Planning Group chairman Sudeep Gohil said, “We’ve gathered some remarkable people to share how the power of ideas can change attitudes and behaviour.
“All great work we do in this industry originates from great ideas, so take a day out of the office to stimulate the mind with big and provocative ideas that will inspire and inform your own marketing practices”.
