Southern Cross Austereo, one of Australia’s most innovative and exciting entertainment-based media companies, is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and talented individual to lead its talented Agency Sales team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the National Sales Director and General Manager (Melbourne), you will be responsible for maximising all revenue streams in the Melbourne market and providing strategic direction and leadership to the Agency Sales team. You will oversee the day-to-day activities of Local Sales Managers and their respective teams, monitoring the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients and ensuring your people are equipped with the right resources and tactics to enable them to respond to market conditions and leverage all possible revenue opportunities.

As the successful candidate, you will have:
* An extensive and successful track record in media sales management with at least 2 to 3 years experience as a Sales Director
* Demonstrated past experience in building and managing high calibre sales teams, reinforced by a natural ability to inspire exceptional levels of performance in the people who report to you
* Solid local and interstate market knowledge, networks and contacts
* Superior communication and interpersonal skills along with an ability to cast and maintain productive work relationships
* Excellent time management skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
